Introducing our reproduction convertible hardtop support plugs, compatible with the E30 convertible chassis.
We cannot think of a better way to complete our E30 convertible trims package than with a fully re-engineered version of these hardtop support plugs. There are many issues with the original plugs: they have an irregular shape that seems to not look good in any position, the original rubber of the plugs degrades after many years in the sun, and they always pop out and get lost - leaving behind an exposed hardtop mounting post. We wanted to fix all of these issues with our offering.
Product Details:
- Quick, spin-in-place install through the use of an embedded stainless steel pin that will not wear fast or rust from the outdoor elements.
- Clean boxy design to eliminate the odd-looking design of the original plugs.
- Intuitive fitment. These only install in one direction, unlike the original plugs.
- Built-in rubber spring to ensure a snug fit on your E30.
- Features a matte and textured finish - which pairs very well with our Hatch and Tonneau Cover trims.
- FITMENT NOTE: Please see the following photo for fitment details. Our hardtop support plugs only fit into the "twist in" style hardtop mounts. Most E30 convertibles have the twist in style of mounts, but some do not.
- Made out of ASA plastic to hold up to high temperatures and increased UV exposure.

Order processing times
After your order is placed, it can take up to 5 days for us to make your product(s) before they ship. We maintain some stock on specific products, but many of our products are made to order.
Free shipping & shipping costs
All European bound orders 80€+ qualify for free shipping. This is automatically applied at checkout. For all lesser order values, shipping is automatically calculated for your selected products based on your region. Any applicable taxes & duties shall be payable by the buyer upon receiving the package.
Duties
All applicable duties levied by the customer's destination country must be paid by the customer upon receiving the product(s) and are additional to what is paid at checkout. Our products are currently all manufactured and shipped from Germany. As a German-registered business, we are obliged to collect and remit VAT on all orders placed that will be shipped within the European Union.
Shipping costs for returns
In the case of a return, the original shipping cost from your order will not be refunded. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Please see our Return Policy.
