About Us

We are car enthusiasts, just like you.

Botter Manufacturing Inc. was founded in 2019 by Lars Botter in Ontario, Canada. We are car enthusiasts who love to make quality specialty automotive products for other car enthusiasts around the world. We focus on developing products that are no longer available from original equipment suppliers but are still very much in need, or entirely new products that we believe should have been there from the factory. Our products are typically 3D printed, but we are working on processes to move beyond just 3D printing such as injection moulding.

Our business originated during a time when we needed discontinued parts for our own classic cars that we couldn’t get from any other supplier, so we decided to make them ourself. It all started with one product (a BMW E30 cupholder) and an obsession to push the limits of 3D printing. To fill the market niche that we’ve found ourselves in, we utilize our passion for mechanical design, specialized manufacturing, and enthusiast oriented thinking to create products that you can’t find elsewhere.

We take pride in being an all-Canadian company. All of our products are made with passion in our small, but mighty 110 square foot workshop in Innisfil, Ontario.

We are always open to working with local and international companies who are inclined to become distributors of our products. Additionally, if you have an idea for a part that you’d like to have made, please reach out to us and we’ll see if it’s something that we’re able to develop for you!

Lars Botter - Founder

I’ve always considered myself to be a passionate builder who likes to understand how things work. While working to attain my mechanical engineering degree in 2019, a few close friends nudged me in the direction of opening my own business. The result was Botter Manufacturing Inc., which went through many different stages to get to where it is today.  This business combines my love for mechanical design, product development, enthusiast-driven classic cars, and my desire to make a positive impact on the car community as a whole. I aspire to do everything that I can to contribute toward keeping classic cars on the road and keeping those smiles on our faces as we enjoy the cars that mean so much to us. I'm a classic BMW enthusiast myself, I own a European spec, 1990 320i 5-speed convertible. It’s slow, but it's a great cruiser and I partially have it to thank for getting me into this line of work!
