BMW E30 Cup Holder - Cassette Holder Center Console Style - Install Video

In this video, Lars walks you through how to install our BMW E30 cupholder that we designed for E30s equipped with a cassette holder style center console. We initially designed these cupholders for standard center consoles that have a storage pocket. Due to this becoming one of our most popular products, we decided to expand our product's compatibility so that they will work in any E30. As far as we know we are the first to design a cupholder to fit in the cassette holder style center consoles!

MODIFICATION NOTE:

We have noticed that some early model style cassette consoles are thicker than later model ones. This means that you may need to use a dremel to shave down the cup holder base to get it to fit. In this case, you need to shave down the cupholder base so that the top rails are extending above the top surface of the console so that the cup holder body can slide onto the base.

The Process

Concept & Quote
- Fill in the form below to book a call with Lars or kick things off over email.
- We will spend some time to understand your product/system and develop an overall concept for the model.
- You will review the overall concept and provide feedback.
- We will issue you a quote based on the overall concept and your expectations for the model. Our quotes detail the payment terms and delivery timeline for your model(s).
Design & Fabrication
- Upon your signed approval of the quote, we will begin the design work. It is best for us, from a time standpoint and for you, from a cost standpoint, if you come to us with CAD data to work from. We will still need to work heavily on your CAD data to turn it into a printable model, but it saves us time rather than creating everything from scratch.
- We will share the design progress with you from start to finish. Obtaining your final approval of the designs is required before fabrication begins.
- Model fabrication will begin, and we will share updates with you throughout the process.
Delivery
- We pack up and ship your model(s) to you. We will send you photos and get your final thumbs-up before shipping.
- The model(s) are delivered to your doorstep.
